Horseradish Sauce

There’s nothing better than Horseradish Sauce with you steak or roast. Tangy sauce with a bite. Perfect accompaniment to a beef main course.
I make all my own sauces and salad dressings and this one is no different. It’s super simple to make this sauce.

I’ve tried it with basic sour cream and creme fraiche. I like it with the sour cream better. The creme fraiche is a too heavy for this sauce. Or maybe I’m just used to sour cream. Either way, I love this sauce.

I was introduced to this sauce at a local restaurant that serves steak on the hot stone. Which by the way was very good, and a fantastic way of serving steak and other meats and fishes. There were three sauces that came with the entree and Horseradish Sauce was one of them. From the first bite, I was hooked.

You can use horseradish in deviled eggs, make potato salad zippy and add to mayonnaise for a spicy sandwich.

I have always loved sour cream. As a kid I used to watch Bruins games with my bag of potato chips and my dip was plain ole sour cream.

I always make this and keep some in the refrigerator. If you love a sauce to dip your steak in, this is your sauce!
