What’s better for tailgating, than ground beef fresh from the butcher, in tiny little buns? Top with tomatoes fresh from the garden, an onion slice, and Heinz ketchup, you got the perfect tailgating food!
I grilled some freshly ground beef from my favorite butcher, purchased slider hamburger buns from Pepperidge Farm, went out in my garden and picked a ripe tomato, and thinly sliced an onion. That to me, is the perfect burger!

September 29, 2012 at 9:23 amI know! The tomato season is winding down, and I’m going to miss going into the garden and picking fresh tomatoes, basil, parsley, etc. I have loads of celery and want to dry the leaves as I use them a lot in recipes!
