I eat out a lot by some people’s standards. The problem is, most restaurants are sadly disappointing. At the end of the experience, I end up saying, “I could have made a better meal at home”. But there are a few, in my opinion, that stand out above the rest. Below are some restaurant & market reviews that I’ve visited.

Rosaria Steakhouse – Saugus, MA
One of the BEST steaks ever! If you’re a steak lover, you’ll LOVE this place! Shrimp cocktail was one of the biggest I’ve seen! Cocktail sauce delicious.

Andino’s Italian Restaurant – Providence, RI
Delicious Italian food! Everything I’ve had is delicious! Chicken Picatta, Veal Parmesan…all delicious! Can sit at the friendly bar to dine or for drinks also. Open really late which is a plus for us late diners.
Sofia’s Italian Steakhouse – West Roxbury, MA
Delicious steak! Been here several times and perfect every time! Well worth the price.
The Bread Shed – Keene, NH
Stopped in a local coop in Keene when passing through. This bread is delicious! Truly homemade! Just found it locally in Hannaford’s Market!
Butcher Boy Market – No. Andover, MA
I’ve been going to Butcher Boy market for years. Well before they’re current new store in No Andover. Everything is delicious there. The steaks are “Top Choice”so are delicious and tender. Only drawback is they are sold “each” not by the pound. At the time if this writing, they were $20.00/lb. Hamburger very lean, and freshly ground. They’re marinade for steak tips and chicken is super delicious. Very good deli. They’re vegetables are super fresh, and they have some of the most delicious corn on the cob around (even early in the season). I’m sure they buy “Wilsons” quality veggies, they stay fresh for quite some time.  The wine selection is HUGE! They sell my favorite presliced ham (Budda Ball Triple M…super tender and not too salty…perfect with eggs in the am). This place is well worth the trip…something for everyone.
