Garlic Mashed Potatoes

I love mashed potatoes. Who doesn’t? But I have never made Garlic Mashed potatoes. This year for Thanksgiving I decided I would finally make them.

They are super easy and super delicious.

You take one bulb of garlic and cut the top off to expose the garlic meat. Place the bulb in a piece of aluminum foil and drizzle with olive oil. Completely seal, put on a baking sheet and baked for 1 hour at 350 degrees F.

The garlic will completely soften, will caramelize and be super sweet. Just squeeze out of the skins, mash and add to your favorite mashed potatoes.

Put a little in at a time and taste. The amount of garlic is a preference. Although the garlic at this point is very sweet and subtle it is a matter of preference how garlicky you like them.

This recipe will be a keeper. Trust me………..
