Cherry Lime Sparkler

It cherry time again! Time to make Geoffrey Zakarian’s Cherry Lime Sparkler drinks. These refreshing drinks will surely be a hit at your next party. I wasn’t expecting much, but WOW was I surprised!
This beverage is great anytime! Rich sweet cherry lime flavor, and super refreshing. If you are looking to make it alcoholic, feel free to add a little rum, vodka or anything you like. But honesty it is so good you won’t miss the liquor if you don’t use it.

These are great to make in the Spring/Summer when cherries are in season and fairly inexpensive. Notice I said “fairly”? Seems nothing is inexpensive these days. None the less this beverage is worth what you pay….trust me.

The task of making this drink is super easy especially when you have these two inexpensive tools:

Cherry Pitter: The job of pitting the cherries becomes a lot easier when using a cherry pitter. This little gadget makes the job a breeze and costs about $15.00. Believe me, you will thank me.

Lime Juicer: This hand held lime juicer juices a ton of limes lickity split.

I garnish the drink as directed, but also throw a few into the drink for treat at the end. Super delicious.

I half the recipe if its just for us (or should I say me), so seltzer doesn’t go flat. But you can macerate the cherries ahead of time and keep in the fridge.

I am not kidding. The mixture of cherries and lime is phenomenal. This drink will be a hit t your next cookout or gathering. Everyone is going to ask how you made the Cherry Lime Sparklers!
