These pops are great for a children’s Halloween Party, and so EASY to make! They’re made from Rice Krispies Treats and candy melts. That’s it! You can also do these for any occasion with different colored melts and sprinkles.
Initially, I dipped the Rice Krispies bars in to the melted candy. In retrospect, I think I would just brush some of the melted candy on to the bar, just enough to get the sprinkles to stick. The melted candy gets pretty hard when its completely hardened and may be too hard for little ones to bite in to.
Desired quantity of Rice Kripsies Treats
Candy melts in any color you wish
Popsicle or craft sticks
Unwrap Rice Krispie bars from packaging, insert a popsicle stick in to each.
Melt candy melts until fully melted.
Dip on half of the Rice Krispie bar in to melted candy. Shake sprinkles on each. Cool on some non-stick aluminum foil. You can also stick sticks in some styrafoam to cook upright, but I would put in the refrigerator to cool.
I had a few sticks break apart from the Rice Krispie bars. No big deal, they just push back together.
