So Long Summer!!!
Well, another Summer’s come and gone. And so is the beauty of the Summers flowers. My roses are blooming their last bloom……
My favorite Coneflowers are also blooming for the last time until next year……
My equally favorite Mini Stella Doro Daylilies (yes, I have over 50 of these!) are still popping up with one or two blooms here and there……
Even some of my Hydrangeas, are still well in bloom……
Old blooms have faded, and will be perfect in dry arrangements this Winter……
My Angel Wing Begonias (the best annual ever, IMO) are starting to wilt and weep, as thought they know its time to sleep……
The garden is just about had it. What am I going to do with these tomatoes??? Stay tuned!!!
Time for yard work, and getting the gardens and plants ready for a Winter’s rest (and for me to get extremely tired!)……
So long summer!!! As much work as it is, it’s all worth it. It will all be back next year to put on a great show!!!
