When I say this French Bread is the easiest thing to make….I mean it!
I saw this great recipe when watching Garden Answer on You Tube.
Being someone that loves gardening and cooking, I was happy to see that she incorporated a recipe at the end of some of her episodes.
I have made two things she has made. Potato Onion Galette and this French Bread. Both came out excellent.
I have never been a great bread baker. Every time I tried baking bread it didn’t come out very good.
HOW EASY IS THIS TO MAKE?
You mix all ingredients and let rise 30 minutes.
Take out of the bowl and gently form into a ball adding flour as needed. Put back into the bowl or in a proofing basket. Let rise 1 hour.
Preheat your oven to 450 degrees F and put dutch oven into the oven to preheat.
Invert dough onto a parchment sheet and gently lift parchment into the preheated dutch oven and cover.Â
Bake for 30 minutes. Then uncover and baked for 10 to 15 minutes more.
The bread comes out soft in the middle with a crispy crust.
When cooled it slices beautifully.
