Who doesn’t crave Asian noodles with a sweet oyster sauce base, tender beef and stir fried vegetables?
I know I do. In this recipe you eat some and then have a craving for more.
Plain and simple. Addicting.
These are super easy to make, even a beginner cook can cook these.
You just need a wok or good quality saute pan. Put your stove on high and your off and running. You can even use an electric wok.
I use the fresh noodles (yellow) commonly found in the refrigerated section of your grocery store. They only take a few minutes to cook and they’re done.
I use what my grocer call “chili meat”. It’s basically coarsely ground beef. I also use this type of beef for pepper steak sandwiches. Marinate your beef in 2 Tbsp marinade for about 10 minutes.
Heat your wok or saute pan on high. Add oil. Stir fry the onions and garlic.
Add marinated beef and cook about 2 minutes.
Add carrot and red bell peppers. Saute about 2 minutes.
Add cooked noodles and sauce. You can also add about 1/4 cup water if you like the sauce thinner. Mix together until fully coated.
Add scallions and toss.
Top with additional scallions when serving.
House of Tsang Oyster Sauce
As I suggest with all of my Asian recipes using oyster sauce, use House of Tsang. In my opinion, there is nothing better.
