I love Brussels sprouts. I know many people don’t, but there’s something about the bite that I love. I guess the same goes for turnip. I love that too. When I saw this recipe on the Food Network’s Home for Dinner with Jamie Dean, I knew I had to make it. He adds brown sugar to his recipe to lessen the “bite” from the Brussels sprouts. I also love the fact that the Brussels sprouts are chopped up and super easy to eat. I make cabbage the same way and it too is delicious.
I love Jaime’s show. He makes the kind of food that I love with the same meaning behind the food that I have. Good food, great friends and family, make a good life.
If you’re looking for something different from the same ol veggies, this is for you.
